This asynchronous training is designed for mentors working with NTID ASLIE interns. This training includes mentoring mindset, mentoring skills, activities to support and refine skills in motivation, inspiration, case notes, observation of work, and discussion of work progress with interns. Required Elements 2 hours of training modules including micro-lessons on: Observing other’s work (30 mins) Case Notes for Performance Progress (30 mins) Constructive Dialogue for performance progress (30 mins) Prioritizing Needs & Focus for strategic performance progress (30 mins) Optional Elements 3 hours of additional/optional training modules including micro-lessons on: Mentoring with a Coaching Mindset (30 mins) Using Powerful questions in mentoring technical & ethical decision-making (30 mins) Motivating & Inspiring Interpreters toward Excellence (30 mins) Using models to understand and enhance performance (30 mins) Listening between the words (30 mins) Advanced Mentoring Skills (30 mins)
